How GREAT is Our God!

ONE80 Sunday School relaunched on September 13th and it has been SUCH a sweet start to the school year.!

This last Sunday we explored week 4 of a 10 week series called “WOW, How Great is Our God?”. The emphasis over this next 10 weeks is to lean into the wonder and AWE of God as we learn more about His Character. Each week, we are focusing on an aspect of God’s Nature. Here are some topics we are learning about:

  • God is Creator - WOW!
  • God is a Just Judge and Jesus took the punishment for what we deserve
  • God is LOVE and His love is perfect
  • God hates sin because it separates us from Him
  • God is Eternal: The Alpha and the Omega, The First and the Last, The Beginning and the End

Thank you for partnering with us in praying that as our kids fall even MORE in love with The Lord as they learn who He is!

(Big shout out to our dear friend, Tayler, who did an incredible job teaching our precious children this week!

“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” - Psalm 100:1-5 ESV

Recap: ONE80 Volunteers had an EPIC Launch Night on Saturday!
Our Children’s Ministry Volunteer Launch was a night of rock-n-roll, connection, and celebration! With a fun 1950s theme, a Sundae bar and delicious burgers, and a hula-hoop competition, we had a great time honouring our volunteers, enjoying one another and building community. But beyond the food, fun, and retro vibes, the core of the evening was about God’s heart for this next generation. We are so grateful for the incredible privilege and responsibility of supporting children to meet face to face with Jesus. We took time to connect, pray together, and share vision for the year ahead. It was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, encourage one another, and build an even deeper bond across our volunteer teams. We’re so grateful for each person who serves our children and families. What a JOY to look ahead together and believe for an incredible year in ONE80 Kids!!!
