OCEANYouth Meeting Update - JAN 12TH

The BC Provincial Government in their January 8th Health Order for Gatherings & Events, Part-C on page-10, now allows for "programs for children or youth" to be held once again with the proper social distancing and other safety protocols in place.

A “program for children or youth” is defined within as: "a structured educational, music, art, drama, dance, recreational, exercise, or social activity supervised by an adult and provided for persons under 22 years of age." So we are pleased to announce that OCEANYouth will be happening again every-other week under the allowance and guidance of this health order.

For more information don't hesitate to contact the church office or see our OCEANYouth COVID-19 Safety Plan.

OCEANYouth

Friday nights at 'The Junction' we have an amazing youth group that gathers every second week during the school year for anyone in grades 7 - 12!!

We have loads to time to hang out, take part in crazy games and also have a short message from the Bible followed by small groups.

Due to Covid-19 guidelines we will be meeting every second Friday with a few special meetups from time to time as well, so it's really important that you follow us on Instagram, on Facebook and stay up to date by subscribing to our weekly emails.

What we believe:

We strive to be training and challenging youth to be consistently growing in their faith. We want to meet them wherever they are at to provide biblical advice and answers to their questions about life. In a world where Google answers so many questions without understanding the context, we as leaders want to be available to encourage our youth to seek God’s answers rather than the worlds. As we provide a fun, safe, and friendly environment on Friday nights for friends in grades 7-12, we will focus on building student/mentor relationships to allow opportunities to help anchor them in Biblical Truth.

Our purpose is to be a dynamic, friendly youth group where kids have fun while growing deeper in their connection with Jesus and one another!

Wednesday Nights - Ages 15-18

On Wednesday nights (when covid guidelines allow for it) we also have a youth Connect Group for 15-18s. Please email the church office at [email protected]. for more information about how you or your youth can join!
