Over the last five years many professionals within our medical system have been stretched to maximum capacity. Christians within our medical system serve a vital role in a wide range of difficult situations where care and ministry from them is so needed. This ministry evening is intended to strengthen, connect, envision and pray over this amazing Christian community of professionals. We desire to see people refreshed by the Holy Spirit in a time where the needs are so many and the roles so vital.
On Saturday April 27th at 7pm we are opening for a ministry evening at Oceanside Church Nanaimo facilitated by Dr. Mathew & Dr. Sheetal Philip from Anthem Church Chicago, and hosted by other local Christian physicians. This night is aimed at ministering to all medical professionals of any designation in and around our city, but is also open to anyone who wants to hear from Mathew & Sheetal and pray for the people in our medical community.
We invite you and your colleagues to join us for this time of refreshing ministry. It doesn’t matter where you serve in the medical system, if you play a part please come to this refreshing time. Even if you are not part of the system but just want to hear from this amazing couple you are welcome.
Mathew & Sheetal Philip are two full-time Internal Medicine doctors from Chicago, Illinois who also serve on the pastoral leadership team at Anthem Church Chicago. Their faith, profession and ministry has led them to work into some of the poorest communities around the world. From setting up clinics in Haiti, to ministering in the garbage dumps of India they have seen Jesus transform many lives and desperate situations.
Mathew & Sheetal also serve on the NCMI Apostolic Team which seeks to strengthen local churches around the world in their mission to love and make Jesus known. NCMI is a team of more than 400 Christian leaders connecting with churches, and working into over 100 nations around the world.
