What Do You Mean You Found God?
It’s a phrase you’ve probably heard before—but what does it actually mean when someone says they “found God”? Did God walk into the room? Did He speak out loud or tap them on the shoulder? Maybe. But most of the time—probably not. So what’s actually happening when people say they encountered God?
The truth is, the answer looks different for everyone—and that’s not a bad thing. In fact, it’s consistent with how God has revealed Himself throughout history: uniquely, personally, and often unexpectedly.
This 4-week course is designed for anyone who’s spiritually curious but not quite sure where they stand with Jesus. Whether you grew up in church, dabbled in different spiritual paths, or have simply lived a life where God wasn’t on the radar, this course creates space to explore the big questions without pressure or pretense.
Each week, you’ll:
• Hear a real-life story from someone who “found God” in a unique way—whether they grew up in church, chased thrills, explored new age spirituality, or wrestled with deep doubts.
• Explore how their experience connects to Scripture, and what the Bible actually says about how God reveals Himself.
• Join a safe, honest conversation where you can ask questions, share thoughts, and reflect on your own journey—no pressure, no pretending.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you could truly encounter God for yourself—or you just want to understand what people mean when they say that phrase—this course is for you, so sign up today and we look forward to going on this journey of exploring the idea of Jesus together!
We will be running on Sunday mornings at 10:45am in a separate room during our second service at church, meaning that if you have kids we will have child care for you!
Starts Sunday, May 25th at 10:45am.
