Love Your City 2022 was a huge success!
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and sponsors.
We kicked things off with church in the park, followed by two incredible baptisms. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and the spirit of the Lord was present. As we sang and prayed over our city, the park began to fill with families, children, friends, and neighbours. As 11AM rolled around, things kicked off with the Oceanside Worship team. Maffeo-Sutton teemed with energy and life.
The Salvation Army handed out over 2000 hotdogs, while Oceanside delivered nearly 1000 snow-cones to thirsty patrons. Another huge thank you to our sponsors for donating ice, water, food, drinks, and tents! Each year we are so profoundly blessed, and in turn, we get to love on our city.
By the end of the day, two more people decided that it was their time to be baptized, so we jumped back into the pool. God is on the move in our city, and we can't wait for next years event.
