In a culture shaped by offence, avoidance, and cancellation, Scripture calls us to a better way: reconciliation.

In this message, Katie MacMunn unpacks what it means to live as a reconciled people —not only reconciled to God through Christ, but reconciled with one another through forgiveness, humility, and courageous obedience. Anchored in 2 Corinthians 5, this sermon reminds us that reconciliation is not just something we receive; it’s a ministry we carry.

Through Scripture, story, and honest pastoral clarity, we are challenged to examine our hearts, release unforgiveness, and allow God’s grace to ripple outward into our relationships, our church, and our city.

Series: As we begin 2026, we are re-articulating and re-establishing our Vision and Core Values as a church. Follow along with us over these 8 weeks.

Vision: Reconciled & Returning

Value: A reconciled people; we desire to strengthen the weak, bind up the broken, while calling the lost home

We explore:

  • What biblical reconciliation actually means (and why it costs something)
  • How Jesus reconciled us when we were still enemies
  • Why forgiveness is both a command and a pathway to freedom
  • The difference between forgiving and reconciling
  • How unresolved offence limits the health and mission of the church
  • Why reconciliation must move from the heart into real conversations
  • How God uses reconciled people as ambassadors of His kingdom

This is a call to stop carrying what Jesus already carried and to let the grace we’ve received flow outward in healing, unity, and love.
